CAROLINE CAMPBELL
Caroline’s work is personal and as such universal, seeking to bring imagery from snatched thoughts, in attempts to shed light and possible interpretations of the meandering mind. She is drawn towards pattern and design, at the same time liking images to be slightly discordant with some sense of drama.
Caroline has recently completed an MA in 3D Design for Virtual Environments and is combining tradition painting with new medium processes to produce gurative works originating from the same themes she has always been drawn to and has drawn from.
‘At times I revel in the darker qualities of life, a necessary part of living and an equal to positivity, co dependant. I try to respond to the beauty I nd in this contrast and interplay between dark and light, ambiguous and sometimes humorous.’
