Warning Signs was a 2023 themed project which tested my skills as designer, painter and writer. This body of work was an artist’s attempt to say something of importance and create a thought-provoking snapshot of our turbulent times with a combination of cautionary verse and iconic imagery. A verse was written to accompany each of the bold paintings and were displayed alongside. Visually I embraced a strong, flat graphic approach with a very limited palette and repeating motifs.
